MAGNOLIA FOOD TRUCKS
Magnolia Market has its own food truck park with some of the best food trucks you could ask for. This alone, in my opinion, makes it one of the best things to do in Waco. After we worked up an appetite doing the hula hoop and playing cornhole, we didn’t even need to leave the Market for a delicious lunch. Trucks include Chip’s favorite BBQ truck, a crepes truck, and the ones we tried, a mac and cheese truck, the wood fired pizza truck, and the fried chicken truck.

OLD TOWN TOMBALL
Old Town Tomball & Historic Downtown Tomball are located toward the east end of Tomball -- between Commerce St. and Market St. (north and south); between Pine St. and Elm St. / the railroad tracks (east and west). Old Town Tomball & Historic Downtown Tomball offer many great places to shop and eat; and it's a lot more relaxing and more low key than going to one of the malls. You'll see lots of things you won't see at the mall.

TEXAS RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL
The nation’s largest, most acclaimed Renaissance themed park. Each year, over 500,000 guests pass through the Festival’s gates and enter the magic of New Market Village, an authentically recreated 55 acre 16th century English township located 50 miles northwest of Houston, Texas. Each year, for 9 fun-filled weekends September 30 to November 26, The Texas Renaissance Festival presents an enchanted world full of Kings and Queens, Lords and Ladies, Knights, Nobles, Fairies, Elves, Pirates, Barbarians and other fanciful interactive characters. Guests will be entertained by a marvelous assortment of unique performers: musicians, magicians, acrobats, jugglers, dancers with over 200 daily performances on over 20 stages throughout the village. In addition, there are over 400 shoppes featuring some of the finest works of artists, artisans, and merchants as well as live demonstrations by craftspeople skilled in the arts of glass blowing, weaving, pottery making, blacksmithing, and more. Finally, there are foods and drinks from all over the world to please every palate and quench every thirst.
